About the Role

Expert freelancers are sought to support leading AI labs in refining next-generation language models. Candidates must be bilingual in Dutch, German, or French with substantial experience in the EU or UK, contributing to the development of accurate and contextually appropriate AI language systems.

Responsibilities

Assess and enhance AI-generated language outputs, including translations and communication contexts
Judge AI responses for linguistic correctness, usability, and alignment with everyday language practices
Develop authentic, real-life scenarios drawn from personal language or professional background
Produce alternative versions of scenarios from multiple viewpoints such as user, reviewer, or language expert
Detect missing elements, errors, or flawed logic in AI-produced content

There are two types of opportunities at 10x:
1. Traditional freelance missions: These are standard project-based roles where the listed assignment reflects the actual work.
2. AI Lab roles: These involve profile screening and approval for future project access. The listed role is not a direct project. AI Lab work is often confidential, with unpredictable project demands. When labs request support, we must respond within 24 hours. Matching depends on project-specific needs and your specialized expertise. Once approved, you may be matched to relevant projects—timing varies from hours to months based on lab research cycles.
