Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles safely for official duties in both city and countryside environments
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections covering fuel, oil, coolant, brake fluid, tires, battery, lights, and other critical components
- Follow all national road traffic and transportation laws at all times
- Promptly notify supervisors of any accidents, incidents, mechanical issues, or vehicle damage and follow established reporting protocols
- Enforce seat belt use and maintain a strong focus on passenger safety
- Handle long-distance and extended travel assignments responsibly under varying conditions
- Ensure vehicles receive scheduled maintenance according to organizational guidelines
- Carry out minor mechanical fixes when qualified and appropriate
- Arrange major repairs through authorized service providers with supervisor approval
- Assist in monitoring the upkeep of organizational motorcycles and power generators
- Track fuel usage and ensure it aligns with approved consumption policies
- Keep detailed and current logbooks for all trips and vehicle usage
- Complete daily checklists and inventory documentation for each vehicle
- Verify that a fully stocked First Aid kit is present in every vehicle
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, roadworthiness, and exclusive use for authorized purposes
- Ensure secure handling during the pickup, transit, and delivery of supplies and equipment
