About the Role
This project involves collecting high-resolution visuals of streets, points of interest, and public spaces throughout EU countries using vehicles equipped with 360° cameras and lidar sensors. Drivers follow assigned routes to capture detailed imagery, which is stored on onboard SSDs and later used to improve a leading online mapping platform. Routes cover public roads, commercial zones, and key locations, with repeat visits scheduled in optimal weather to ensure image clarity. Assignments typically last between 3 and 6 months, depending on regional scope.
Responsibilities
- Follow designated routes to capture high-quality visual data of streets, landmarks, and public areas across EU countries.
- Operate vehicles fitted with detachable 360-degree cameras and lidar systems to record detailed environmental imagery.
- Save collected visual data onto onboard computers with SSD storage for future use in improving a global mapping service.

Project Overview
This initiative focuses on capturing high-resolution visuals of streets, key landmarks, and public spaces in EU countries. Using vehicles equipped with removable 360° cameras and lidar sensors, drivers record detailed environmental imagery. Collected data is stored on onboard computers (SSD Drives) and later used to enhance a leading global online mapping platform. Drivers follow pre-planned routes covering public roads, commercial zones, and points of interest. Some areas may require revisits during optimal weather to ensure image clarity. Project duration varies by location, with most assignments lasting 3 to 6 months of active work.
