Responsibilities
- Receives and clarifies client work requests, confirming project details and agreed-upon deadlines
- Proposes alternative timelines or solutions when requested deadlines are unfeasible
- Ranks incoming projects by priority and allocates work across the team according to guidelines and urgency
- Serves as the primary point of expertise for document formatting, proofreading, and quality control processes
- Reviews complex business documents for errors and ensures final deliverables meet quality standards
- Identifies inconsistencies in layout, structure, and citation formatting within documents
- Compares revised document proofs against original markup to verify corrections and ensure accuracy
- Enforces compliance with formatting protocols using standard proofreading symbols and reference materials, considering the client's operational context
- Models professional conduct when interacting with clients and ensures team members deliver reliable, high-quality results on schedule
- Leads continuous training initiatives for current and new staff on established workflows and emerging document production methods
- Aligns shift activities to maintain consistent output quality, timeliness, and service levels for client deliverables
- Provides guidance and instruction to less experienced team members as needed
- Reports project challenges or timeline concerns promptly and professionally to supervisors or clients
- Supports leadership in implementing administrative tasks and system updates across the team
- Promotes compliance with organizational standards regarding behavior, dress, performance, and attendance
- Encourages cooperative and adaptable communication within and between teams
- Offers input on individual growth plans, training needs, and performance benchmarks to improve team capabilities
- Engages with clients through in-person, phone, or digital communication channels
- Follows all internal company policies and client-specific site regulations
