As Director, US HEOR & RWE, you will drive the creation and implementation of health economics and outcomes research strategies to support the U.S. commercialization of metabolic health therapies. Your work will center on generating real-world evidence that informs value propositions for payers, providers, and policymakers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute integrated HEOR strategies with a focus on U.S. market entry and lifecycle management
- Develop real-world data (RWD) initiatives in collaboration with academic institutions, health systems, and claims databases to assess treatment patterns and patient outcomes
- Conduct analyses to characterize patient populations, disease burden, and comparative effectiveness
- Build economic models, AMCP dossiers, and scientific narratives that communicate product value
- Support payer interactions with evidence-based summaries and presentations to enhance formulary positioning
- Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations
- Collaborate with clinical development teams to align evidence generation with commercial goals
- Represent HEOR insights in governance forums, advisory boards, and strategic planning sessions
Qualifications
Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MPH, or Master’s) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Outcomes Research, or a related field. Eight to twelve years of experience in biotech, pharma, or consulting, with a focus on pre-launch and commercial phases. Demonstrated expertise in U.S. payer evidence needs, RWD study design, and outcomes measurement. Strong publication record and ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences. Experience managing external partners and cross-functional initiatives is essential. Knowledge of metabolic, endocrine, or cardiometabolic diseases is preferred.
