Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a long-term strategic plan for security operations that evolves with emerging threats and business growth.
- Manage end-to-end incident response processes, including detection, analysis, containment, remediation, recovery, and post-mortem evaluation.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain skilled security analysts and engineers while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Work closely with executive leadership, legal, and public relations teams during critical incidents to ensure coordinated action and compliance with disclosure requirements.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators, service level agreements, and risk metrics for detection and response programs.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered triage tools, automated workflows, and code-driven detection methods to improve response speed and reduce manual effort.
- Build and sustain partnerships with external organizations such as intelligence providers, law enforcement agencies, and information-sharing communities.
- Coordinate with internal technology, cloud security, and engineering teams to ensure unified threat detection and response across all systems and platforms.
