About the Role
The Director, Security will lead the design and implementation of the company’s security strategy, ensuring robust protection of data, systems, and infrastructure while aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities

- Establish security policies, standards, and operational procedures
- Guide identity and access management frameworks

- Monitor evolving threats and adapt defensive measures accordingly
- Partner with legal and compliance teams on regulatory requirements
- Oversee third-party risk management and vendor security assessments
- Drive adoption of encryption and data loss prevention technologies
- Maintain relationships with external security partners and agencies
- Support cloud security architecture and zero-trust initiatives
- Ensure secure configuration of networks and endpoints
- Lead security certifications and audit readiness efforts
- Advocate for security best practices across departments
- Manage security operations center (SOC) performance and tooling
- Evaluate and implement security automation and monitoring solutions
- Report security metrics and risk posture to executive leadership
- Foster a culture of proactive security ownership
- Guide secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
- Oversee threat intelligence programs and vulnerability management
