Responsibilities
- Lead multiple planning teams with a focus on understanding the full scope of client business needs and objectives
- Play an active role in shaping the evolution of service offerings
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and media teams, guiding strategy and media plan development
- Collaborate with senior leadership to promote best practices, innovation, and strategic frameworks
- Manage end-to-end media planning and buying for designated client accounts
- Track ongoing client initiatives and daily operational activities
- Define, guide, and supervise planning strategies that align with business outcomes and client expectations
- Coordinate with key partners across media channels including television, social, search, mobile, print, out-of-home, and emerging platforms
- Oversee the management of client media issues, identifying solutions and resolving challenges
- Deliver data-backed insights and strategic points of view
- Foster strong internal relationships and external partnerships with clients, media suppliers, and network teams
- Support new business efforts by presenting agency capabilities during pitches
- Manage media budget distribution and fee allocations across all platforms
- Lead by example through mentorship, teamwork, and consistent guidance
- Guide the team in preparing monthly staffing and revenue forecasts
- Work with leadership to integrate new tools and methodologies, including audience-first and addressable media strategies
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple planning groups and provide strategic leadership to understand all aspects of your client’s business
- Be deeply involved in the future offerings of our services
- Act as the day-to-day liaison between the client and media community providing leadership, strategic direction, and input for media plans
- Work closely with the Group Director to drive an agenda of best practices sharing, innovation, and strategic thinking, via a clearly defined operating model, framework of thinking, and toolkit
- Lead all media planning and buying aspects as assigned accounts
- Monitor client programs and day-to-day business activity
- Direct, develop and oversee planning objectives and strategies that deliver against business results and ensure client satisfaction
- Lead and direct all core partners as part of the entire solution, including TV, social search, mobile, print, OOH, and other emerging platforms
- Oversee the flow of client media-related issues while creating solutions and resolving problems
- Provide insight-driven recommendations and POVs
- Build and maintain effective working relationships internally and with clients, media vendors, and GroupM teams
- Sell the agency’s services and capabilities in new business pitches to prospective clients
- Oversee budget allocation process for media and fees across all media platforms
- Inspire and support the team through strong leadership, collaboration, and mentorship
- Lead team in completing monthly staffing and revenue projections
- Partner with the Group Director to implement new technologies and practices that will evolve the business including addressable and audience first approaches
