Responsibilities
- Align workforce planning with product development timelines to forecast skill and leadership requirements essential for strategic execution.
- Lead organizational design efforts that clarify reporting lines, roles, and accountability as the business scales.
- Collaborate on job architecture, leveling systems, and career progression models within technical teams to enable growth and internal movement.
- Strengthen leadership pipelines by identifying and developing successors for key technical and management roles.
- Work with executives to design change initiatives that are clearly communicated and smoothly implemented during organizational transitions.
- Enhance workforce quality by enforcing performance standards and addressing low performance consistently.
- Promote a culture of high performance through regular performance cycles and coaching for leaders to build results-oriented teams.
- Retain vital technical talent, especially in specialized domains like AI engineering, using focused development and retention approaches.
- Use workforce analytics—including attrition, engagement, and performance—to inform proactive talent strategies.
- Ensure that promotions and role advancements are fair, data-driven, and based on defined performance criteria.
- Manage, mentor, and align a team of People Business Partners, setting expectations and improving strategic impact.
- Define consistent processes and feedback mechanisms across the People Business Partner team serving technical functions.
- Handle sensitive performance and employee relations issues with sound judgment, balancing organizational needs and employee well-being.
- Ensure People practices are applied fairly and consistently while fostering a culture of accountability and inclusion in engineering and product groups.
