Responsibilities
- Create and execute operational plans to boost efficiency, output, and financial performance in cryogenic pump manufacturing
- Ensure manufacturing activities follow all applicable safety and environmental standards
- Oversee the yearly manufacturing budget, tracking spending to stay within approved limits
- Drive process enhancements that improve efficiency, lower costs, and elevate product quality while increasing profit margins
- Lead and grow a large team of manufacturing personnel through coaching and development to maximize their capabilities
- Partner with engineering, design, and sales teams to confirm products align with customer needs
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and external manufacturing partners
- Establish and roll out standardized processes, best practices, policies, procedures, and performance targets
- Collaborate across departments with product management, development, engineering, and project teams to support company objectives and timely delivery
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and engagement efforts to build a high-performing workforce
- Track and evaluate key manufacturing metrics including safety, quality, delivery, cost, cash flow, and employee performance
- Respond quickly to escalated customer concerns by coordinating internal resources as needed
- Detect and eliminate barriers to consistent on-time delivery with correct quality standards
