Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term strategies to grow marketplace revenue and market share
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Walmart platform presence
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to guide decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, marketing, and finance
- Optimize product listings for visibility and conversion
- Lead negotiations with marketplace partners on terms and promotional opportunities
- Monitor compliance with platform policies and performance standards
- Identify and scale best practices across product categories
- Oversee inventory positioning aligned with marketplace demand
- Drive customer satisfaction through timely fulfillment and service standards
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors as needed
- Manage budget planning and cost efficiency initiatives
- Lead onboarding of new product lines to the marketplace
- Evaluate competitive landscape and adapt strategy accordingly
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketplace touchpoints
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in e-commerce or online marketplace management
- Proven leadership experience in a high-growth digital environment
- Strong understanding of Walmart marketplace operations and ecosystem
- Experience managing large-scale online retail accounts
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth on third-party platforms
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data tools and reporting
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Experience with inventory forecasting and supply planning
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and marketplace technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Project management experience with cross-functional initiatives
- Knowledge of digital marketing and promotional strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced business degree
- Direct experience managing Walmart Marketplace at enterprise scale
