Position Overview
Diligent is hiring a Director of Partnerships & Alliances, EMEA to lead the strategy, development, and execution of its regional partner ecosystem.
This role is focused on building a high-impact alliances function with a strong emphasis on GSI, consulting partners, and strategic alliances, while establishing a scalable and disciplined co-sell model across the region.
The position combines strategic ownership and operational execution, requiring a leader who can define direction, activate partnerships, and drive measurable commercial outcomes. The successful candidate will lead a regional team and work cross-functionally to ensure partnerships are fully integrated into Diligent’s GTM approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the EMEA partnerships and alliances strategy, aligned with overall business growth objectives
- Design, implement, and scale a structured co-sell model with strategic partners to drive pipeline and revenue
- Lead, develop, and performance-manage a team of partner and alliance professionals across EMEA
- Build and expand the partner ecosystem, prioritising high-value strategic alliances and consulting partners
- Own senior stakeholder relationships across key partners, ensuring clear alignment on commercial priorities and execution
- Establish joint business planning frameworks with partners, including revenue targets, solution alignment, and go-to-market initiatives
- Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, ensuring consistent contribution to regional sales performance
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to embed partners into the full customer lifecycle
- Represent Diligent in partner engagements and industry forums across the region
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 10+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, or channel leadership roles within SaaS or enterprise software
- Proven experience building and scaling alliances ecosystems across EMEA
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing co-sell models with strategic partners
- Strong leadership experience managing distributed teams
- Deep understanding of partner business models, including GSIs, consulting firms, VARs, and MSPs
- Track record of delivering partner driven pipeline and revenue growth
Preferred
- Experience in GRC, cybersecurity, or risk and compliance markets
- Strong experience operating in cross-functional, matrixed organisations
- High level of commercial acumen and strategic planning capability
- Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM platforms and performance metrics
- Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage
