About the Role

The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of business growth strategies, forge strategic alliances, and manage high-value client engagements to accelerate market expansion and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and implementation of long-term business growth initiatives
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities across target industries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders
  • Drive revenue expansion through client acquisition and retention efforts
  • Conduct market analysis to inform business development strategies
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements and commercial deals
  • Represent the organization at industry events and networking forums
  • Collaborate with product teams to align offerings with market demand
  • Present business cases and proposals to executive leadership
  • Monitor competitive landscape and adapt outreach strategies accordingly
  • Manage a pipeline of business development opportunities
  • Set measurable goals for team performance and track progress
  • Provide input on pricing and go-to-market strategies
  • Support marketing initiatives with market insights and messaging direction
  • Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and product development functions
  • Lead due diligence for potential partnerships or joint ventures
  • Develop executive-level presentations and reports
  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities
  • Advocate for customer needs within internal strategy discussions
  • Coach and mentor junior team members in business development practices
  • Evaluate new technologies or services for market fit
  • Foster a culture of innovation and accountability within the team
  • Respond to RFPs and lead proposal development
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams on contract terms
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree in business administration or related discipline
  • Experience in the proptech or real estate technology space
  • Existing network in commercial real estate or property management
  • Prior leadership role in a Series B or later stage startup
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in property operations
  • International business development experience
  • Fluency in a second language relevant to target markets
  • Public speaking or thought leadership experience
  • Certification in sales methodology or partnership management
  • Track record of entering new geographic regions
