Responsibilities
- Define and drive the strategic direction and long-term roadmap for an integrated ML platform in alignment with business, product, and technology objectives.
- Articulate platform vision and business impact clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in MLOps, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, including generative AI technologies.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of a full lifecycle MLOps platform, including architecture, tools, and operational frameworks.
- Promote and institutionalize strong MLOps practices across engineering teams.
- Define, track, and improve key metrics such as platform reliability, scalability, performance, cost efficiency, and user satisfaction.
- Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop high-achieving engineering teams.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Identify, hire, and retain top engineering talent; support professional development and leadership growth within the team.
- Act as a strategic technology advisor to global stakeholders and deeply understand their machine learning requirements.
- Influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders to adopt platform standards, gain alignment, and support platform adoption.
- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term architectural sustainability and scalability.
- Manage budget allocation and operational spending, with a focus on cost efficiency and optimization.
- Manage partnerships and vendor relationships relevant to platform technology and infrastructure.
