About the Role
Oversee the design, implementation, and scaling of a large-scale initiative delivering unconditional cash transfers to mothers and babies in need, ensuring operational efficiency and measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage end-to-end program delivery for maternal and infant cash transfer initiatives
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure accurate beneficiary identification and disbursement processes
- Monitor program performance using data-driven metrics and adjust strategies as needed
- Lead cross-functional teams across operations, monitoring, and finance
- Ensure compliance with internal protocols and external donor requirements
- Design scalable systems for enrollment, payment, and impact tracking
- Coordinate with external partners and government agencies where applicable
- Oversee budget planning and financial accountability for program activities
- Supervise staff and contractors involved in program implementation
- Drive continuous improvement through analysis of operational feedback
- Represent the program internally and externally in technical discussions
- Ensure gender-sensitive and culturally appropriate program approaches
- Manage risks related to fraud, error, and exclusion in cash delivery
- Support research and evaluation efforts to measure program impact
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting for all program phases
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience working in sub-Saharan Africa or South Asia
- Prior leadership role in a nonprofit or international development organization
- Knowledge of mobile money or digital payment systems
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation frameworks
