Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for business intelligence that transitions the company from reactive reporting to a forward-thinking, insight-driven culture enabling faster and more effective decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leaders in Finance, Sales, Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, Marketing, and Product to align the BI strategy with overarching global business objectives.
- Establish and manage enterprise-wide KPIs and executive dashboards to provide consistent, reliable performance tracking and accountability across functions.
- Lead the development and optimization of the cloud-based data infrastructure to ensure high-speed query performance, cost control, scalability, and system reliability.
- Create unified data models across departments to break down data silos and establish a single, governed, and trusted source of truth for enterprise data.
- Oversee data cataloging, quality assurance, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regional security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Implement robust standards for data quality, monitoring, and system reliability to maintain confidence in analytics outputs.
- Manage vendor partnerships and control the BI budget with a focus on minimizing total cost of ownership and maximizing efficiency in Databricks compute usage.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of month-end data reporting while driving automation to reduce manual effort and increase long-term operational efficiency.
- Promote the integration of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to automate insights, improve forecasting accuracy, and deliver proactive business recommendations.
- Lead the adoption of modern business intelligence platforms that enable self-service analytics while preserving data governance and control.
- Drive organizational change and data literacy programs to increase adoption of analytics tools and capabilities across teams.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a global team of data engineers and analysts, evolving the function from manual reporting to strategic, high-impact innovation.

- Unify enterprise data models across the organization to eliminate fragmented silos and ensure a single, governed, and trusted "Source of Truth."
- Maintain ownership of data cataloging, quality, and governance standards while ensuring BI platforms and data assets comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements across regions.
- Establish rigorous data quality, observability, and reliability standards to build sustained trust in analytics and reporting.
- Own vendor relationships and the BI budget, focusing on Total Cost of Ownership and Databricks compute efficiency.
- Oversee and ensure timely delivery of month-end data while implementing automation to streamline processes and improve long-term efficiency.
- Champion the use of AI and advanced analytics to automate insights, enhance forecasting, and surface proactive recommendations for the business.
