Responsibilities
- Identify and develop strategic alliances with healthcare systems, clinical networks, employers, community colleges, and industry partners to support enrollment growth in graduate and online academic programs.
- Manage a strong pipeline of potential partners through proactive outreach, executive engagement, and structured relationship development from first contact to contract completion.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Director, Business Development to ensure all partnership initiatives align with department goals, institutional priorities, and brand standards, seeking approval as needed.
- Function as an integrated team member within Business Development and across departments, sharing market insights and best practices to support a unified partnership strategy.
- Create and present persuasive proposals and business cases to healthcare executives, HR leaders, and clinical decision-makers that highlight return on investment and mutual benefits.
- Act as a trusted advisor to current and prospective employer partners, aligning academic offerings with workforce development needs and talent pipeline challenges.
- Use labor market data, industry trends, and competitive analysis to target high-opportunity regions and organizations, customizing value propositions to partner-specific needs.
- Work with the Senior Director to refine business development strategies, improve processes, and recommend innovations to enhance team performance.
- Coordinate with internal departments—including Marketing, Admissions, Academics, Legal, Compliance, and Clinical Placement—to ensure smooth execution of partnership agreements.
- Manage ongoing relationships with established partners after contract signing, identifying expansion opportunities and ensuring smooth transition to operational teams.
- Represent the university at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking forums to build visibility and uncover new partnership leads.
- Keep CRM systems updated with accurate records of outreach efforts, engagement stages, pipeline progress, and partnership performance metrics.
- Stay current on healthcare industry developments, workforce initiatives, regulatory changes, and competitive factors affecting professional education.
- Align partnership strategies with admissions and enrollment goals through close coordination with the inside admissions team and other internal stakeholders.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Senior Director and cross-functional partners, providing updates on pipeline progress, engagement status, and market feedback.
- Enhance institutional reputation among employers and community organizations through professional engagement and thought leadership in partnership with marketing.
- Follow all university policies and procedures, including adherence to the Code of Ethical Conduct, Compliance Agreement, and Sexual Harassance Policy, as well as federal and state regulations.
- Maintain a regular schedule during standard business hours and accurately log time worked and time-off requests.
- Travel frequently as a core requirement of the role, including local, regional, and national trips.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
