Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary paid media contact for clients, managing the expansion of their digital fundraising initiatives through channels such as Meta, Search, P2P Texting, and List Growth.
- Design, establish, and implement all components of the client's digital paid media fundraising strategy to achieve their objectives, including media planning, projections, and content creation.
- Collaborate with internal paid media ad operations teams to execute and refine all aspects of the client's paid media program.
- Generate and develop creative concepts for clients, and handle writing, fact-checking, and proofreading of content.
- Guarantee that all content reflects the client's genuine and honest voice, and that each campaign is distinctive, pertinent, and timely.
- React promptly to current events by aiding in the drafting of advertisements and texts in response to rapidly breaking news stories.
- Take the lead on relevant communications with clients.
- Foster a collaborative environment that enhances the quality of our work.
- Coordinate with designers, email strategists, and vendor partners to address client requirements as needed.
- Stay informed about digital trends and new tools to provide cutting-edge recommendations based on best practices.
- Customize paid media fundraising strategies to fit the specific needs of each client and situation, thinking creatively and seeking opportunities for innovation.
- Utilize, assess, and offer feedback on new digital tools and emerging technologies tested by Authentic to improve programs and workflows when necessary.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Understanding of the issues and a dedication to electing Democratic candidates and advancing the progressive movement.
- Relevant experience from a previous role or a brief period in a similar position.
- Experience with advertising platforms such as Facebook and Google Ads, and CRMs like NGP and ActionKit.
- Demonstrated ability to create and set strategy for a client.
- Proven effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, work effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in stakeholder or client management, copywriting, and digital ad campaigns.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work extended hours when needed, including for rapid response situations.
- Eagerness to learn and self-educate.
- Commitment to accuracy and persistence in getting things right.
