Responsibilities
- Examine metadata, communication data, and digital network structures across various communication methods and protocols.
- Identify and evaluate the structure, functions, weaknesses, and communication systems of targeted networks to assist in exploitation efforts.
- Carry out digital network analysis to uncover potential intelligence-gathering and cyber-operation opportunities.
- Study data traffic, telecom platforms, and communication standards such as TCP/IP, IPv6, VoIP, wireless systems, and routing frameworks.
- Investigate intelligence sources using government tools, databases, and analytical systems to generate usable intelligence outputs.
- Assist in creating innovative exploitation strategies, methods, and tools for use against new and evolving technologies.
- Evaluate network security flaws, malicious software, and enemy tactics, techniques, and procedures to advance mission goals.
- Develop technical documentation, intelligence evaluations, and presentations to convey detailed findings to operational and executive stakeholders.
- Work alongside cyber specialists, software engineers, reverse engineers, and intelligence partners to aid in mission planning and implementation.
- Regularly assess new technologies, communication platforms, and cyber threats to improve analytical performance and mission outcomes.
