Responsibilities
- Direct the creation, implementation, and upkeep of BIM processes and methods across projects.
- Develop and manage BIM execution plans to align with project specifications and industry norms.
- Create and oversee detailed 3D BIM models that represent physical and functional project elements.
- Perform clash detection and coordination to spot and resolve design conflicts before construction begins.
- Reduce rework by ensuring precise and coordinated design integration.
- Support coordination and communication among project stakeholders through digital collaboration tools.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to enable smooth information exchange.
- Use VDC methods to enhance planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
- Implement and refine simulation techniques to optimize construction sequencing and logistics.
- Offer guidance and training to project teams on BIM and VDC best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending process improvements as needed.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
- Strong grasp of construction processes and project lifecycle phases.
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Aided Drafting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and applied experience.
- Progressive experience leading BIM VDC efforts within the construction industry.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with BIM automation tools or scripting (e.g., Dynamo preferred).
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration platforms.
- Working knowledge of Total Station tools for field layout.
- Electrical construction experience preferred.
- Certifications in BIM VDC-related technologies are a plus.

- The majority of the time you will work in a typical office environment, the remainder of the time you will be on construction job sites.
- When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space.
- You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.
