De Beers Group is hiring a Diamond Sourcing Coordinator - Replenishment

Responsibilities

  • Process all diamond shipments, transfers, and returns with precision to guarantee full traceability and data correctness.
  • Keep SAP and internal databases updated in real time to reflect stock movements, component shifts, and operational updates.
  • Support inventory accuracy by taking part in stock audits, reconciliations, and daily verification checks.
  • Manage location records for diamonds and assist with administrative tasks related to small diamond stock handling, including sorting, labeling, and storage.
  • Prepare diamond sets for manufacturing based on replenishment and production needs, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Organize diamonds for lab submission, handle all related administrative steps, monitor grading progress, and update certification records upon completion.
  • Maintain complete, well-organized, and compliant documentation for all laboratory processes.
  • Coordinate with the Polished Division to align supply of diamonds and melee for replenishment and prototype requests.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning to ensure timely and complete allocation of replenishment diamonds.
  • Provide regular updates to Product Development on diamond availability, replenishment progress, and upcoming needs.
  • Keep shipment statuses, inventory levels, and document completion records current to support planning and merchandising functions.
  • Develop and manage dashboards and reports using Excel or Power BI to monitor KPIs, lead times, certification pass rates, low stock warnings, and process efficiency.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents for rough and polished diamonds to meet Customs, Kimberley Process, and G7 requirements.
  • Assist in compliance tracking, audit preparation, and document control in coordination with the Diamond Centre Manager.
  • Work with Logistics to track incoming shipments, resolve document issues, and ensure fast processing.
  • Offer administrative assistance to the Diamond Centre Manager and Coordinator during high-demand periods or urgent workflows.
  • Identify ways to improve efficiency in administrative tasks, enhance documentation practices, and support implementation of new processes for better accuracy and consistency.
