Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to primary and palliative patients in and around Panama City, FL
- Evaluate patient health through physical exams, updating medical histories, and developing optimal care plans
- Communicate effectively with office staff and clinical operations using various internal platforms
- Provide patient-centered care to an assigned panel of patients
- Formulate impressions, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Build trust and consult with patients, families, and caregivers during visits
- Order diagnostic tests as medically necessary
- Prescribe medications, supplies, and appropriate medically necessary interventions
Requirements
- Board certified with a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification in the State of Florida
- Strong clinical skills to accurately and confidently treat, assess, and diagnose
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to confidently solve problems and work independently
- 1-2 years of primary care experience with geriatric patients
Nice to Have
- Hospice experience highly preferred but not required
