EX Squared is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to embed security principles into our development and operations processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure infrastructure and automated pipelines.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement secure, automated CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate security tooling and vulnerability scanning into the development lifecycle
- Build and maintain secure cloud infrastructure following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Monitor systems for security threats and configure automated responses
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a security-first culture
- Document security processes and configurations
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
- In-depth knowledge of security practices for CI/CD, secrets management, and network security
- Fluent professional proficiency in English
- Legal right to work in Germany
Nice to Have
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty)
- Experience with security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Knowledge of specific security tooling for SAST, DAST, and container scanning
- Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment
