Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end CI/CD, deployment, release, and operational readiness for Azure cloud and edge Kubernetes platforms supporting a high-availability energy solution.
- Unify disparate CI/CD systems across GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps into a single standardized pipeline framework adopted company-wide.
- Develop standardized workflows and reusable pipeline templates to enable immediate production deployment of new services.
- Design reliable, auditable, version-controlled, and rollback-capable deployment processes for edge locations with limited or intermittent connectivity.
- Define and enforce production readiness requirements including monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and on-call procedures; lead incident response, postmortems, and corrective actions.
- Integrate automated security controls into pipelines such as container and dependency scanning, secret detection, SBOM generation, artifact signing, and policy enforcement; manage secrets across distributed environments.
- Supervise DevOps, MLOps, and QA automation engineers with responsibilities in 1-on-1 mentoring, performance development, hiring, technical governance, delivery outcomes, and DORA metric reporting.

- Time Zone Alignment: US Central Time (CT) / Pacific Time (PT) overlap
- Minimum overlap of 6 hours with US Central (CT) and Pacific (PT) business hours during a standard 8-hour workday
- All interviews, technical documentation, daily team syncs, and operational communications will be conducted in English
