Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth understanding of current and upcoming architecture, features, and capabilities of internally developed deployment systems.
- Maintain consistent and clear daily communication with relevant teams as needed.
- Guide teams on preparing projects for integration into the deployment pipeline, covering source control, branching models, and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to meet requirements and address CI/CD-related inquiries.
- Set up and manage distributed SVN platforms for multiple applications, with automated builds via Jenkins or equivalent tools.
- Create and maintain Unix and build scripts essential for deployment automation.
- Oversee deployment coordination, including documentation, release planning, and runbook development.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in applications and middleware components.
- Lead setup, configuration, and deployment of applications across development, QA, SIT, UAT, production, and disaster recovery environments.
- Secure final deployment approvals from quality assurance and development teams.
- Investigate, diagnose, and fix build and deployment failures.
- Construct and sustain development environments for consistent development and testing.
