Tietoevry is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our Create business unit. In this role, you will focus on technical analysis, infrastructure management, and automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and contribute to architectural decisions within a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
- Conduct pre-study and analysis of technical requirements, evaluating third-party solutions for compatibility and performance.
- Manage and optimize GitLab infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance workflows using modern DevOps tools.
What We're Looking For
- A strong DevOps background and a passion for problem-solving.
- Hands-on AWS experience.
- Strong experience with Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Ansible, and scripting languages like Bash or Python.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- A solid technical background in DevOps practices and automation.
- Experience in requirements analysis and the architectural aspects of complex solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to collaboration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other public cloud providers.
- Experience with on-premises installations.
- Familiarity with GitLab administration and integrations.
- Experience integrating third-party products into enterprise ecosystems.
