Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is hiring a DevOps Engineer for Payment (m/f/d)

We are looking for a DevOps / Operations Engineer (Agile) to support our Lynx payment team. You will help ensure the availability, stability, and continuous improvement of our payment platform. At our Digital Hub for Credit & Collection, we work in agile teams and take full ownership of our applications – from development to operations. Application The application MPS (Magenta Payment System) is our central platform for processing payments such as PayPal, Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc. The platform runs on a private cloud with geo-redundancy and is planned to be extended to public cloud environments. Purpose DevOps Engineer is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches. Takes account and defines automated configuration management, release management, build, test and deployment activities. WHAT WILL YOU DO? - Ensure stable daily operation of the payment platform - Work closely with developers, product owners, and partners - Monitor and improve application performance and reliability - Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) - Support releases and deployments to test and production environments - Implement and improve monitoring and alerting (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus) - Analyze logs and support incident resolution (3rd level support) - Translate requirements into user stories and technical solutions - Contribute to automation and continuous improvement - Support testing and integration activities - Act as a link between development and operations
