About the Role
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and scalable infrastructure to support continuous delivery and high availability of services.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage automated deployment pipelines for seamless software releases
- Maintain and optimize cloud-based infrastructure across development and production environments
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure service uptime and performance
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues
- Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment workflows
- Automate routine operational tasks to improve system reliability and efficiency
- Support incident response and post-mortem analysis for system outages
- Manage configuration and version control for infrastructure as code
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards
- Scale systems to meet growing demand while maintaining performance benchmarks
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support
- Evaluate and integrate new tools to enhance DevOps practices
- Document system architecture, processes, and operational procedures
- Work closely with QA teams to streamline testing environments
- Optimize resource utilization and reduce cloud spending
- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Support containerization and orchestration using modern platforms
- Promote a culture of shared responsibility between development and operations
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning
- Assist in onboarding new services into the production environment
