The Media team is revamping its technological stack for enhanced extensibility and cross-platform consistency while maintaining the reliability customers expect. What You'll Be Doing - Manage and sustain a complex media technology infrastructure across supported platforms - Design and construct hardware abstraction layers and cross-platform media APIs - Refactor and modernize existing code; integrate and evaluate third-party frameworks - Collaborate with platform customers and internal authoring/runtime teams to transform requirements into platform capabilities What We're Seeking - Drive delivery of cross-platform media systems; own architectural decisions and customer impact - C++ expertise (memory management, threading, real-time performance profiling) - Advanced media domain knowledge (containers/codecs, streaming, synchronization) and proficiency with major platform media SDKs - Design extensible, testable, maintainable systems; reduce technical debt - Produce strategic and technical design documentation; establish non-functional requirements; align partner teams for successful delivery You Might Additionally Possess - C# interoperability skills - Experience shipping media pipelines in real-time engines with measurable performance improvements - Leadership in open-source media framework adoption - GPU-accelerated media expertise - Advanced audio capabilities: spatial audio, DSP chains, low-latency IO - Experience representing organizational interests with platform vendors Additional Information - No relocation support available - No work visa/immigration sponsorship Benefits include comprehensive wellness and work-life balance support.
