Responsibilities
- Champion and advance a strong safety culture across all active development sites and client-facing operations.
- Deliver EHS leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to EHS Project Managers integrated within project teams.
- Oversee assurance processes for high-risk construction activities, including planning workshops and enforcement of Global Minimum Standards.
- Design, execute, and refine EHS audit schedules, inspections, and assurance protocols to foster continuous safety improvements.
- Ensure General Contractors adhere to organizational EHS policies, project specifications, governance models, and Australian WHS laws.
- Evaluate audit outcomes, confirm effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions, and escalate critical EHS risks or systemic issues.
- Supervise investigations into safety incidents, assess root cause analyses, and ensure corrective measures and learnings are disseminated.
- Analyze and verify EHS performance metrics, Power BI reporting tools, and periodic safety summaries for executive and client review.
- Foster collaborative relationships internally and externally, lead safety dialogues in project meetings, join client site visits, and guide teams in proactive risk management.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of EHS Project Managers to enhance consistency in field practices, reporting, and site engagement across Sydney developments.
