Responsibilities
- Speak at industry events, coding gatherings, and technical meetups to showcase API capabilities from firsthand experience building with the platform.
- Lead educational sessions, live Q&As, and online seminars that explore core technologies including the Search API, Agent API, Embeddings, and MCP server.
- Highlight and promote projects created by developers across social and community platforms such as X, Discord, and Reddit.
- Manage and oversee official developer forums, Discord channels, and Reddit communities—prioritizing urgent inquiries and ensuring all meaningful questions receive responses.
- Plan and execute hackathons and developer nights, covering prize design, API credit distribution, real-time event assistance, and post-event impact analysis.
- Transform recurring developer challenges and common queries into updated documentation, practical Cookbook samples, and smoother onboarding flows.
- Create technical content such as step-by-step guides, release notes, and in-depth blog articles that developers find useful and are inclined to share.
- Develop and keep current ready-to-run examples in the Cookbook, including RAG setups, agent logic flows, multi-provider SDK demonstrations, n8n integrations, and MCP templates.
- Align release materials across documentation, social channels, Discord, and forums to ensure consistent messaging and growing traction with each API launch.
- Work directly with developers to debug integrations and translate those interactions into structured input for product and engineering teams.
- Track competing platforms and identify strategic advantages to inform go-to-market and product development strategies.

Responsibilities
- Represent Perplexity's APIs at conferences, hackathons, and developer meetups as a credible builder who has shipped with the stack.
- Run workshops, AMAs, and webinars that go deep on the Search API, Agent API, Embeddings, and MCP server.
- Amplify developer projects publicly on X, Discord, Reddit, and other developer communities.
- Own the developer forum, Discord, and Reddit presence — triage, moderate, and ensure no high-signal question goes unanswered.
- Organize hackathons and build nights, including prize scoping, API credit grants, live event support, and post-event ROI writeups.
- Convert repeated questions and friction points into docs updates, Cookbook examples, and improved onboarding — close the loop between community and product.
- Write tutorials, changelogs, and technical blog posts that developers share — not marketing copy disguised as documentation.
- Build and maintain Cookbook examples: RAG pipelines, agent workflows, multi-provider SDK demos, n8n integrations, MCP starters — things developers can run on day one.
- Coordinate launch content across docs, social, Discord, and forum so every API release lands consistently and builds momentum.
- Sit with developers to troubleshoot integrations and synthesize those conversations into structured feedback for product and engineering.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and surface differentiation opportunities for GTM and product teams.
- Maintain the partner integration pipeline and help scale the Startups credits program beyond its current manual state.
