Inngest is looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to serve as the familiar face of our product to the developer community. In this role, you will blend engineering skills with speaking and writing to increase Inngest's online presence and local footprint in the Bay Area.
What You'll Do
- Write blog posts and tutorials to help developers discover useful use cases and get started with ready-to-use templates.
- Build demos that drive curiosity and spark word of mouth on social media.
- Speak at events in San Francisco to increase Inngest's awareness among the AI developers community.
- Post regular updates and content on social media to keep the community informed and engaged.
- Contribute to content strategy by collaborating with the Marketing team to identify and prioritize engaging topics.
- Act as an internal advocate for developers to share feedback and insight to help improve developer experience and product.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node/Next.js.
- Understanding of how APIs and queueing systems work.
- Experience creating high-quality and engaging content.
- Commitment to showcasing product abilities through community involvement.
- Passion for educating developers and translating complex technical concepts into memorable, easy-to-follow content.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of Python and/or Go.
- Experience producing video content, from scenario to recording and editing.

Team & Environment
You will collaborate with the Marketing team (including a Content Engineer and Developer Marketers) and the GTM team.
Work Mode
This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and requires a local presence for in-person events and community engagement.
