Responsibilities
- Design and implement a web application that functions reliably without continuous internet connectivity
- Enable data retrieval from a central repository and store it locally using appcache and indexeddb technologies
- Apply encryption or other security measures to protect data stored on local machines
- Create authentication mechanisms that control access to locally saved data during offline sessions
- Develop a system for returning local data to the central database while managing conflicts from simultaneous edits
- Identify and resolve issues arising from incomplete or inconsistent browser support for HTML5 and related standards
- Structure features so they can be reused across other applications with similar MN.IT design patterns
- Construct the application in alignment with MN.IT@DHS technical requirements
- Ensure all code follows MN.IT@DHS best practice guidelines
