Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end DevOps delivery pipelines covering infrastructure and environment management.
- Set up and manage tools for provisioning, deployment, and system monitoring.
- Utilize continuous integration and delivery platforms such as Jenkins, Nexus, and Artifactory.
- Configure Jenkins master with multiple agents, plugins, security settings, pipelines, and integrations.
- Develop automation scripts using shell, Python, or Groovy for operational efficiency.
- Deploy and manage Jenkins in AWS environments with strong familiarity in AWS services and Unix/Linux systems.
- Work with containerization and configuration tools including Docker, Ansible, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Grafana, ELK, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of core AWS services including EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, IAM, EKS, and S3.
- Use infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible for environment provisioning and management.
- Apply understanding of version control systems such as Git and SVN, including branching and merging strategies.
- Build and manage Kubernetes clusters using AWS-managed EKS services.
- Support integration, deployment, and delivery of services and microservices.
- Configure Kubernetes clusters using AWS CloudFormation templates.
- Implement and manage access controls in Kubernetes using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Monitor Kubernetes environments using Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager.
- Integrate AWS services with Kubernetes components effectively.
- Configure Container Networking Interface (CNI) for connectivity between Linux and Windows nodes.
- Implement Horizontal Pod Autoscaling and cluster auto-scaling mechanisms.
- Deploy applications and services using Helm charts.
- Possess exposure to or experience with multiple cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud.
- Deliver full lifecycle CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Integrate and manage identity and access management (IAM) systems, alerts, and application maintenance workflows.
- Set up and manage CDN infrastructure across cloud providers such as Azure and AWS.
- Demonstrate understanding of high-availability architectures and load balancer configurations.
- Apply knowledge of automation frameworks, application servers, and API gateways in system design.
