Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on support for desktop computers, laptops, and connected devices such as printers and scanners.
- Identify and fix hardware and software problems experienced by users.
- Set up, customize, and support operating systems, software applications, and security patches.
- Carry out regular system upkeep and enhancements to maintain peak performance.
- Address user support tickets and technical incidents promptly using a formal tracking system.
- Support employee onboarding and departure procedures, including configuring devices and transferring data.
- Keep accurate records of IT assets and monitor equipment assignments.
- Work with internal IT groups to solve network and system integration challenges.
- Record problem-solving methods and outcomes to improve internal knowledge resources.
- Offer instruction and advice to staff on fundamental IT operations and software tools.
