Advanced Micro Devices, Inc (AMD) is looking for a motivated Design Verification Engineer to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. At AMD, we build great products that accelerate next-generation computing experiences—from AI and data centers, to PCs, gaming and embedded systems. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of developing our next generation products, verifying PCI Express designs using the latest UVM standard and developing comprehensive test plans.
What You'll Do
- Write, implement, and review test plans.
- Develop testbenches and verification components such as UVCs, models, BFMs, and re-usable verification environments.
- Write, modify, and maintain random and directed test cases and libraries in System Verilog/UVM.
- Analyze functional, code, and test plan coverage.
- Implement assertions, checkers, and monitors.
- Utilize in-house and 3rd party IP/SOC CAD and EDA tools for design verification.
- Deploy industry-leading verification methodologies such as UVM.
- Triage and debug regressions.
- Reproduce functional bugs found in silicon in simulation verification tools.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews.
- Provide technical leadership, including driving projects from start to finish and design verification sign-off.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with testbench architecture, System Verilog, and UVM.
- Proficiency in digital design in RTL and Verilog HDL.
- Working experience in the ASIC area.
- Knowledge of C/C++, Java, or another object-oriented programming language.
