Crystalia Glass LLC is hiring a Design Engineer for Aluminum Systems. In this role, you will apply your expertise in aluminum profile design and extrusion principles to create custom mechanical assemblies and technical documentation for large-scale architectural projects.
What You'll Do
- Create 3D models of components and assemblies based on technical drawings and physical measurements in SolidWorks.
- Develop custom mechanical assemblies and prepare standard technical drawings and specifications.
- Work with measurements, sketches, and diagrams to analyze and optimize design solutions for cost, time, and resources.
- Manage project documentation through various development stages, from sketches to working drawings and specifications.
- Interact with suppliers and production departments to clarify technical requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of aluminum profile design, extrusion principles, and the specifics of assembling aluminum structures.
- Ability to analyze and optimize design solutions in terms of cost, time, and resources.
- Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and manage project documentation through sketches, working drawings, and specifications.
- Experience interacting with suppliers and production departments to clarify technical requirements.
- Experience with glass structures such as partitions, railings, interior doors, swing doors, sliding systems, and windbreak panels.
