Responsibilities
- Develop detailed automation system architectures, I/O lists, and control philosophies.
- Prepare and review functional design specifications (FDS), cause & effect diagrams, and control narratives.
- Configure and program PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.) and DCS platforms (Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, etc.).
- Develop HMI/SCADA graphics and dashboards.
- Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
- Lead or support on-site commissioning, loop checking, and start-up activities.
- Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to ensure smooth operation and achieve process KPIs.
- Generate as-built documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, ISA, local codes).
- Maintain clear project records and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and clients.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for design and execution practices.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation
- Specialization in the design, development, and commissioning of automation systems
- Strong technical expertise in PLCs, DCS, and associated instrumentation
- Ability to deliver end-to-end automation solutions across diverse industrial sectors
