Derex Technologies Inc is hiring a Duck Creek Claims Lead to direct the development, implementation, and support of our Duck Creek Claims applications. In this role, you will lead technical teams to deliver robust, enterprise-grade insurance solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation and customization of Duck Creek Claims modules.
- Guide and mentor development teams on configuration using Duck Creek Author, Express, and Integration Suite.
- Own the technical design, architecture decisions, and best practices for Claims solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and product owners to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards, and maintain documentation.
- Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support build, deployment, and release cycles.
- Interface with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, technical guidance, and issue resolution.
- Support UAT and production deployments; troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in IT.
- 3+ years in Duck Creek Claims configuration and development.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering complex Claims implementations.
- Proficiency in Duck Creek Author, Express, TransACT, and Integration Suite.
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance claims processes including FNOL, reserves, payments, subrogation, and recovery.
- Technical expertise in .NET, C#, SQL, and JavaScript.
- Experience with web services (SOAP/REST), integration design, and third-party system interfacing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
