Responsibilities
- Build and sustain high-impact relationships with government officials at municipal, state, and national levels, along with nonprofit groups, community leaders, business partners, and media to advance regional public affairs objectives.
- Represent the organization in media engagements and public forums; plan and lead community events in both English and Spanish.
- Work with regional leaders to assess, rank, and execute strategies that support operational expansion and fleet growth in priority markets, with initial emphasis on Mexico and Chile.
- Partner with regional operations, policy, and campaigns teams to shape and implement long-term government engagement strategies aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate with communications and marketing departments on public education, safety programs, advertising initiatives, and local media outreach.
- Monitor, interpret, and report on regulatory, legislative, and political trends across Latin America, with focused attention on Mexico City.
- Identify potential risks to regional operations and collaborate with internal teams to develop timely and effective solutions.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to establish consistent practices for stakeholder engagement, planning, and execution in new and mature markets.
- Oversee external consultants and third-party partners, setting performance benchmarks and accountability standards.
- Support the development of regional team capacity; may take on direct people management responsibilities as the organization grows.
