Responsibilities

- Represent the organization in regulatory discussions
- Guide internal investigations and compliance audits
- Work with external counsel on complex legal matters
- Assist in crisis management and incident response planning
- Provide legal input on marketing and customer communications
- Support human resources on employment law issues
- Monitor changes in legislation affecting financial services
- Draft and review corporate disclosures and public filings
- Advocate for ethical business practices across departments
- Coordinate with compliance officers on regulatory reporting
- Evaluate legal implications of new business models
- Maintain legal documentation and corporate records
- Train employees on legal and compliance topics
- Streamline legal processes for operational efficiency
