Responsibilities
- Support event coordination and logistics
- Handle setup and teardown of event materials
- Initiate meaningful interactions with consumers about brand choices and offerings
- Distribute promotional items according to guidelines
- Resolve issues that arise during events
- Build rapport with retail and bar staff at partner locations
- Attend recurring training sessions, meetings, and workshops
- Collaborate with event managers, associates, and fellow ambassadors
- Submit timely and thoughtful post-event summaries with actionable insights
- Learn and comply with company protocols and local regulations
- Engage consumers at key decision points to inform purchase and consumption choices
- Foster consumer trust by making brands relatable through education
- Guide consumers through product sampling experiences where permitted by law and policy
- Complete assigned digital training modules for brands and programs
- Use technology platforms to receive and report information for brand representation
- Arrive punctually at events in required attire, ready to execute promotional plans
- Hand out branded promotional goods to attendees
- Follow responsible service practices and report any breaches
- Prepare retail locations with branded point-of-sale materials
- Cover product or bar costs using a company-provided debit card
- Collect or receive promotional supplies from the event team
- Ensure company assets like uniforms and materials are properly maintained and returned
- Submit post-event reports through the designated marketing platform
- Capture digital photos during events and support social media content sharing
- Recognize distinctions between the represented brand and competitors, and monitor competitive activity
Work Arrangement
Remote — Metro New York, Westchester, NYC (all 5 boroughs), Long Island

- Candidates must be 21 years and older
- Must have a valid US driver's license
- Must have your own method of transportation
- English language proficiency, both written and verbal
- Bilingual, Spanish/English candidates encouraged to apply
- Work schedule: Thursday Afternoon/Evening, Friday Afternoon/Evening, Saturday Day/Evening, Sunday Day, Holidays
- Events typically last 2-4 hours
- Brand Ambassadors must complete regular online trainings
- Must sign-off on all required forms
- Must adhere to all MKTG Policies & Procedures and the NA Diageo Marketing Code
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to carry heavy trays, boxes, objects
- Must be accessible to using Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint programs
- Must have 20 hours of daytime and/or evening availability per week
- Must be able to work in retail outlets (convenient stores)
- Must maintain a clean, neat appearance
- Must be responsible, reliable, punctual
- Must be able to work independently or in a team atmosphere
- Must be able to pass exams testing product knowledge
- Must deliver a two to three-minute 'Final' presentation to represent brands
- Must follow Responsible Server Guidelines and report violations
- Must pay for bar spend or product via company issued debit card
- Must pick up or accept delivery of promotional materials
- Must ensure proper care and return of company property (uniforms, event materials, etc.)
- Must complete post-event recap (ERF) in MKTG reporting website
