Responsibilities
- Arrive punctually in full uniform with a clean vehicle and a full gas tank.
- Keep the car top sign lit at all times during deliveries.
- Assemble all order items, including extras like dipping cups and sodas.
- Route orders in the Pulse system within one minute of leaving the store.
- Move safely and quickly between the store, vehicle, and customer's door.
- Transport hot items in heat bags and cold items in plastic T bags.
- Load all assigned orders into a clean, safe vehicle approved for delivery.
- Drive safely to all deliveries, obeying all traffic laws.
- Do not make extra stops without specific permission.
- Collect payment from customers and provide correct change.
- Obtain signatures for credit and debit card transactions.
- Track cash and receipts, ensuring balance at shift end.
- Use a drop box to keep cash in the bank bag under $20; no money in the vehicle.
- Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
- Keep the driver area stocked, organized, neat, and clean.
- Help keep the box hutch and all box stocking areas clean and stocked.
- At closing, ensure the dining area is clean and stocked.
- Ensure heat bags are clean and free of rips or tears.
- Sweep floors regularly and mop when needed; mopping is required every night.
- Wash dishes when no dishwasher is on shift.
- Help cook food and work in the kitchen when necessary and only as backup.
- Assist occasionally with taking phone, counter, or window orders.
- Perform general store cleaning.
