E Source is hiring a Databricks Data Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage scalable data infrastructure and pipelines using AWS, Python, Databricks, Spark, and PostgreSQL
  • Work with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into technical data solutions
  • Offer technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced data engineers
  • Establish and enforce data engineering standards and best practices across projects
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility by monitoring and resolving pipeline issues
  • Stay current with industry advancements and assess emerging data technologies for potential use
  • Create and maintain data lakes to enable analytics and business intelligence reporting
  • Oversee software development lifecycle processes and DevOps operations
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver robust, scalable data solutions
  • Build tools for data validation and analysis to support data reliability

Compensation

Includes annual bonus and 3% employer-matched 401(k)/RRSP plan
