Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end deployment of data warehouse systems, including managing project tasks, goals, and key milestones.
- Guide decisions on data warehouse capabilities in alignment with client business operations.
- Design, configure, and document business processes related to data warehouse functions.
- Serve as a bridge between client business teams and technical implementation staff.
- Report progress to the Project Management Office and assist in preparing project communications.
- Estimate effort and resources for changes to business processes or new functionality requests.
- Monitor, report, and record project risks, issues, scope changes, and key decisions.
- Conduct research and provide insights to support project planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with software vendors to report and track defects in delivered features.
- Support additional project needs as required by project demands.
- Analyze and document system configurations, particularly those tied to data warehouse operations.
- Lead preparation for testing, including development and review of test scenarios and scripts.
- Lead analysis of system interfaces and produce documentation with improvement suggestions.
- Take primary responsibility for executing testing across multiple test phases.
- Log, manage, and track issues along with their resolutions.
- Contribute to change management and internal communication materials.
- Support development of training content through detailed analysis and input.
- Review and provide feedback on complex system enhancements.
- Produce functional specifications in compliance with established standards.
- Evaluate data warehouse security roles and permissions, documenting changes or recommendations.
- Analyze batch processing schedules and dependencies using AppWorx or similar tools, and recommend adjustments.
