Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve predictive models to support intelligence and operational decision-making through data analysis and artificial intelligence.
  • Use exploratory data techniques to uncover patterns and generate actionable insights for mission planning.
  • Incorporate stakeholder input into model development cycles to ensure alignment with evolving objectives.
  • Apply Agile methods in sprint-based workflows to enable fast iteration and continuous improvement of analytics solutions.
  • Produce a performance report for predictive models, including accuracy metrics, key findings, and impact on operations.
  • Deliver a Rough Order of Magnitude Estimate before each project, outlining anticipated labor hours, computing expenses, storage needs, and infrastructure demands.
  • Conduct quarterly evaluations of system performance and resource usage to improve cost efficiency and workflow effectiveness.
  • Maintain alignment with mission goals through structured development cycles and regular backlog refinement.
  • Ensure models are optimized for real-world application and responsive to intelligence community requirements.
  • Support documentation and reporting standards for model validation and operational integration.
  • Design analytics workflows that are scalable and adaptable to changing mission needs.
  • Contribute to a culture of rapid prototyping and iterative delivery within a secure environment.
  • Track and report on the operational impact of analytical outputs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate feedback and improve model performance.
  • Maintain rigorous standards for data governance and model transparency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine predictive models, conduct exploratory data analysis, and generate AI-driven insights to enhance intelligence and operational planning.
  • Integrate customer feedback into model iteration cycles, leveraging Agile development methodologies to maintain responsiveness to mission requirements.
  • Submit the Predictive Model Performance Report, documenting key findings, model accuracy metrics, and operational impact assessments.
  • Implement sprint-based Agile methodologies, ensuring rapid development cycles, backlog grooming, and alignment with mission requirements.
  • Provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) Estimate Report before each analytics project, detailing expected Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) hours, compute costs, storage consumption, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews to track cost efficiency, assess system performance, and optimize analytic workflows through the Quarterly Cost & Resource Utilization Report.
