Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms to detect fraudulent activity
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns and anomalies
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into production systems
- Evaluate model performance using statistical methods and real-world metrics
- Work with large-scale data pipelines and cloud infrastructure
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Document model development processes and assumptions
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Monitor deployed models for performance degradation
- Improve data quality and feature engineering pipelines
- Support A/B testing frameworks for model validation
- Communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Stay current with advancements in machine learning and fraud detection
- Contribute to data governance and model compliance practices
- Assist in defining data collection strategies
- Optimize models for speed and accuracy
- Work cross-functionally with product and operations teams
- Help maintain data infrastructure reliability
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and pipeline failures
- Support the development of internal analytics tools
