About the Role

We are seeking a skilled data specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights to support business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data-driven solutions to optimize business processes.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to stakeholders on data findings and recommendations.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines to automate data collection and processing.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experimental designs to evaluate the effectiveness of data-driven strategies.
  • Identify and address data security and privacy concerns to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Work with large and complex datasets, including structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate data solutions into existing systems.
  • Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Conduct research and development to explore new data science methodologies and tools.
  • Participate in data science projects and initiatives to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Develop and implement data quality metrics and monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate data solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
  • Develop and implement data warehousing and data management solutions.
  • Conduct data audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and security.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certification in data science or machine learning.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP).
  • Knowledge of deep learning and neural networks.
  • Experience with time series analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in data science frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with data science platforms such as DataRobot or H2O.ai.
  • Knowledge of data science ethics and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience with data science in the finance or automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in data science tools and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciKit-Learn.
