Merkle Science is hiring a Data Scientist — Blockchain Intelligence

Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and deploy clustering and attribution methods using measurable precision and coverage metrics instead of assumptions.
  • Manage full-cycle data workflows: extract, clean, merge, and model extensive blockchain datasets independently.
  • Create and sustain data pipelines that transition heuristics from experimental notebooks to live production systems, including backfilling and validation.
  • Analyze complex edge cases such as mixers, cross-chain bridges, exchange wallets, and fund consolidation behaviors to derive scalable rules.
  • Collaborate with investigation and product teams to define accurate outcomes and assess performance against verified data.
  • Rapidly prototype solutions, then refine and solidify effective approaches for long-term use.
