Responsibilities
- Lead the growth and development of a high-performing data science team, including recruitment, mentorship, and setting technical and cultural standards.
- Shape long-term strategy across key integrity areas such as fraud detection, policy enforcement, and abuse prevention, balancing immediate actions with sustainable solutions.
- Establish consistent analytical practices, including metric design, experimentation protocols, monitoring systems, and evaluation frameworks for integrity initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to guide roadmaps, identify priorities, and convert risk signals into actionable product decisions.
- Adapt team structure and workflows to support organizational growth, clarifying ownership, refining processes, and increasing efficiency through tooling and automation.
- Support cross-functional objectives by partnering with teams outside the core integrity domain where risks impact product or business outcomes.
- Communicate complex risk assessments and strategic tradeoffs to senior leaders, aligning stakeholders on goals and performance indicators.
- Advance the team’s use of AI and modern data tools to enhance speed and effectiveness in detecting, analyzing, and responding to integrity threats.
